Your First Visit to Our Bellingham Practice
New patients often remark how comfortable they instantly feel at our office. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable setting that is relaxing for everyone.
Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by name with a smile when you enter our office and will fill out a small amount of paper work to help get you started as a new patient in our office.
You will meet and spend detailed quality time with Dr. Andrew Winn, who will conduct a consultation with you to discuss your health goals and verify that chiropractic is likely to help you. Patients appreciate our willingness to explain everything in advance, and if you do decide that you would like to proceed with chiropractic care, a thorough examination will be done to help identify the causes of your presenting symptoms.
Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to get a full evaluation of a patient. X-rays help us rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan or you. Most people are amazed once they see their x-rays and can often immediately identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves. We have an on-site x-ray facility and x-rays will be performed only if necessary.
The first visit typically takes about one hour, but you will not leave without a full understanding of everything thing discussed during your visit.
