Licensed Massage Therapist
Mishon Wooldridge, LMP
At one point I realized, I spend 24 hours a day in my body and know hardly anything about how and why it works. As I took steps in the process learning about myself, and what it means to be healthy, I knew I had found a lifelong passion--which is largely what inspired me to become a massage therapist. Both giving and receiving massage therapy is an education and I hope that, amidst relaxing and treating specific issues, my patients will come to have a better understanding of their bodies.
I began my training in 2009, studying relaxation, deep tissue, and intraoral techniques. I have always believed the effects of massage would be greatly enhanced by chiropractic adjustments (and vise versa). As a part of the Atlas team, I am able to provide integrative care for people every day, and watch "everyday" issues become a thing of the past. I am so grateful to be able to serve my community in this way.
I grew up in Western Washington, and love all the local lore: salmon, mountains, trees, rainclouds, etc. I moved to Bellingham to go to WWU and received a B.A. in Creative Writing. My free time is spent in the garden, playing music, or working on various craft projects. I make my home with my boyfriend, Richie, and a small army of house plants.
